Long division is seeing how many groups can you get out of a number.Lets say you have 35 divided by 5.You would have to see how many 5 can you get out of 35 witch is……..7.When you know how to divide is when you here the words each, in groups of,and equaly.The number that you use to see how many groups to get out of a bigger number is called a dividend.The larger number to see were to stop at is called a divisor.If you follow these simple rules you could be a multiplication genus.Thats all I know about divison.
