Once upon time there was a turkey named Sam. It was a bright sunny thanksgiving day. Sam was afraid he was going to get killed by his owner. So he decided to hide from the farmer. That after noon he hid. It didn’t work out so well, because he got distracted by a bird and ran into a rusty pole. He tried to think of another way to hide from the farmer. Sam thought and thought. Suddenly he had an idea. He thought that if he hid at the very back of the truck he wouldn’t get notice. Sam tried that and it worked! Sam was glad that he wasn’t going to be Thanksgiving turkey! There was still next year.
